The Austin Venture Association is pleased to announce a private reception for premiere funds, family offices, LPs, and select emerging startups on March 11th during SXSW.

This exclusive event will provide an opportunity for networking and discussion with like-minded professionals.

Due to limited capacity, we are prioritizing invitations for the highest-performing individuals to ensure an intimate and impactful experience for all attendees. Please note that the event has a maximum capacity of 150 guests.

Welcome to the Austin Venture Association, a place where connections can be established and information can be shared. Our primary focus is on organizing gatherings at which our members may socialize, share their perspectives, and develop meaningful connections with one another. With the help of our venture capitalists, our founders, and our sponsors, we are dedicated to creating an environment that is both dynamic and engaging in order to foster the expansion and success of our community.

We are planning a number of in-person events to take place each quarter of 2023 to provide assistance for both private member events and paid events open to non-members. Members will have the opportunity to meet with one another, discuss their perspectives, and broaden their professional networks during the course of these activities.

The Venture Hotel

The Austin Venture Association hosted “The Venture Hotel”, an end-of-summer soirée on August 11, 2022.

The Venture Boat Cruise

The Austin Venture Association booked a private chartered boat on Town Lake on March 12

Female Founder Wine Tasting

Austin Venture Association cofounder and Executive Board Member, Ari Salafia, also the cofounder and CEO of TaxTaker, planned a private wine-tasting event at Next Coast Ventures on May 9th.

Investor Reception

Austin Venture Association organized The Investor Reception, a gathering of the greater venture community on the evening of March 12, 2022, at the OJO Labs upscale office space with stunning balcony views of the downtown skyline.

Soft Launch Party

Thanks to all who attended our soft launch earlier this month. We ordered catering from local taco joint, Tacodeli, and enjoyed live music from the band Austin Prairie Dogs. Drew Scheberle, from the National Security Innovation Council was our gracious venue host with a breathtaking skyline view of downtown Austin.
